Design Concept
When I see a small seed flying on the wind with its leafy wing, or fluffy parachute, I enjoy imagining it to be a tiny but brave individual travelling far from his home. I find wind dispersal of seeds to be a beautiful strategy that trees take; it is designed for seeds to not compete with each other but to co-exist, by taking a long journey and going with the flow. This is the motif of “Wind Travelers”, a wind-themed mural that visualizes joy and prosperity of our life.
This mural is a collaborative art project. On the Discovery Day, participants “flew a kite” - painted kites to complete the mural design.
